Race Training Tips

Image
I didn’t consider myself a runner or enjoyed running. However, last year I trained for and ran a marathon because it’s always been something that I have wanted to do.   I wanted to share these running tips that helped me because I know this is a busy time where people are starting to train for their races. Whether it’s 3.1, 6.2, 13.1, 26.2 miles or anything in between, I know that you guys can do this! 1) Wear the Right Shoes I was advised to change my running shoes every time I ran between 300-500 miles in them. Days in Disney

Saturday, February 29 th My roommate from my marketing class and I arrived at the Port Orleans Resort. I was fascinated how the cast members behind the desks had to wear bright purple skirts and pants as their costume. Everything in the lobby played a part in the Port Orleans vision from the flowery wallpaper and giant harp hanging from the ceiling to the patterned furniture and creamy colors that filled the room. Sunday, March 1 st My Customer Experience Management class and I got to visit behind the scenes at all the Disney resorts. We saw how the floats from the Rivers of Light show were set up, which is most technologically advanced light show Disney has ever produced. Each flower petal from the water floats has over a thousand LED strip lights, and all of the floats were pro...

I think this holds itself to be especially true in a time like college. You only get one undergraduate college experience, typically four years. Many argue that these four years will be the best of your life. Others disagree because they believe you do not want to peak in college and that there is so much more to look forward to after college. I think I agree with both perspective but lean toward the latter one. I think the reason why many people say that college is the best four years is because you will never be as stimulated with so much opportunity at a given moment besides college. Therefore, if you seize all the opportunities in college then it could be your best four ...
